After delivering a super hit with mass entertainer "Nenu Local", Nani announced a romantic drama "Ninnu Kori". Since the release, this film has created great interest and songs and teasers have further accelerated expectations.
Nani who is on the winning streak comes with another good movie? Let's find out.
History:
Pallavi (Nivetha) and Arun (Aadhi Pinishetty) are celebrating their first anniversary in San Francisco. They are happy with their married life. On the same day, she goes to meet Uma Maheshwar (Nani), her former lover. The story returns to his Vizag days.
Pallavi and Uma love each other. When Pallavi realizes that his father does not agree with his love, he asks her to run away with her and get married. But Uma wants to settle down first in life and heads to Delhi. Meanwhile, she marries Arun.
At present, Pallavi finds that Uma is not able to forget her and has become an alcoholic. To change it, she invites him to stay in her house and see her happy life.
The game starts between these three.
Performances by artists:
Nani is in a formidable way here. He is at his natural best - so matured yet cheeky.
Nivetha steals the show in a character backed by the author of a woman torn between her husband and her first love.
Aadhi Pinishetty has done an endearing act; Watch your emotional scenes for the climax.
Murali Sharma and Prudhvi have given good laughs and also added color to the story.
Technical Excellence:
The film has rich production values and visual first-class. Karthik Ghattamaneni's film from the US locations has given the film a rich layer.
Gopi Sundar's touching melodies like "Adiga Adiga" are good, but it's your background score which is a major force.
Editing must have been crispier as the movie runs at a slow pace everywhere.
Reflexes:
Climax sequences
Emotional Moments
Actions of the actors
Inconvenient:
Slow story
Analysis:
"Ninnu Kori" is not a love triangle story even though it revolves around three characters - one woman and two boys. New director Shiva Nirvana has picked up a story that is a bit risky as this drama focuses on a wife, a husband and his former lover.
The film recalls films like "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", "Kanya Danam" and Ashok Kumar "Abhinandana", but it is not exact copy of them.
In "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", Ajay Devgan goes all out to unite his wife (Aishwarya Rai) with his lover when he realizes that she is deeply in love with that guy (Salman Khan). Here the heroine invites her ex-lover to see how happy she is with her husband and her married life.
Like Ajay Devgan, here Aadi is also broad-minded and very understanding. But this does not go the same way. There are similarities, but it differs.
The movie begins in a slow way. When the story changes to show about the flashback love episodes between Nani and Nivetha, we are not excited as they are very routinely told.
The film enters the scene, when Nani moves to the house of Nivetha and Aadi and begins to try to break his life. There are many fun times. It moves slowly and steadily to reveal the emotional aspect of the story.
The moment Murali Sharma, who plays Nivetha's father in the film, arrives in the United States, becomes a beautiful film with rich emotions.
The mockery between Murali Sharma, Nani and Prudhvi has many funny moments and subtle humor warms the heart.
The highlight of the film is when Aadhi Pinishetty breaks. The final sequences are handled in a mature way by the new director Shiva Nirvana.
The director who has given a new twist to the old story and copied big brands brands in handling the final moments and extracting good performances.
Both he and writer Kona Venkat should be praised for not spoiling this by adding unnecessary comedy tracks.
On the negative side, not much happens in the movie, only moments happen. In addition to this, the pace is very slow. The songs are not put well, nor well. Apart from "Adiga Adiga", there are no catchy numbers.
But the background music of Gopi Sunder has played an important role in improving mood. The performances have worked hard, especially Nivetha wins among all. Nani uses the charm to score.
In general, "Ninnu Kori" is a story of matured love told in class with some good performances and some emotional sequences.
It can go well with the audiences of a center and overseas audiences than the centers of B and C.
Bottom-line: Welcome to this
